Midnight Illustrations was founded by multi award winning illustrator / freelance artist and small business owner Katrina Taylor. (Kat) ( BA (Hons) & diploma in art and design. ) in 2021.
Based in South Wales, Kat is known and recognised for both her dynamic, graphic, realistic style and her soft, vibrant, playful style in both digital art and Lino print.
Created as a way to not only bring Kats art and designs to the public but also create products that are not only unique, high quality but also eco friendly. While focusing on helping the local and UK communities by only using eco-friendly materials and manufacturers based in the UK.
Kat loves to work on different genres. Inspired by nature, books and television she enjoys and her life experiences, along with her pet rabbit bilbo. Who was the original inspiration for her beloved collection she labels “the buns”.
Her art has been featured in galleries across the uk and her stunnart art business has won multiple awards. Often found working with local communities, businesses and councils to sell her art at local events along with larger events across the UK including conventions.
Kat looks forward to pushing boundaries and using her unique art styles to build bridges through her dynamic artwork with both her private and industry professional clients, world wide. Hoping to bring as much joy to the people who see her artwork as she has creating them.

For the past few years Midnight Illustrations has been recognised all across the UK at comic conventions. Where Kat has had the joy of meeting 1000's of amazing people and bringing joy with her illustrations and products.
She is always overjoyed with the support and love for both her graphic art and adorable bun collection and products.
Katrina has been featured in select galleries across England and Wales including Hanley museum, The Grand (Swansea) and most recently being featured as a finalist of the Iron bridge Fine art Gallery.
She is currently in talks with galleries to exhibit in the near future.
Competing in competitions over the past few years, Midnight Illustrations and Kat have successfully won multiple awards such as SBA female entrepenaur of the year - Art business of the year finalist of 2024 and also highly recommended small business, regional winner (South Wales) and national finalist in both arts and crafts and retail the young traders competion.
